For graduate students interested in transportation-related science and engineering, participation in the GREATT program is a terrific way to gain valuable hands-on experience in the future of automobile design and to share that experience with precollege students.

Funded by the National Science Foundation and operated in conjunction with Penn State's GATE program, the GREATT project offers graduate teaching fellows the opportunity to improve their teaching skills by working directly with grade school or high school teachers to develop science-related lessons and exercises. Fellows are automatically enrolled in the GATE program and will receive a certificate of completion from the GATE program for their participation in the GREATT project.
