Consistent with our mission, CSATS focuses on establishing partnerships that are beneficial and sustainable. Due to the depth of background of CSATS faculty and staff in science, K-12 science teaching, education research on teaching and learning, and science teacher preparation, the projects in which CSATS is involved incorporate learning theory and research-based best practices in K-12 teaching and professional development. These projects also include ongoing formative evaluation to enhance and strengthen these programs.
