This workshop will be for high school Physics and/or Earth & Space educators in the Pennsylvania region. The one day workshop will be held to inspire Science educators to lead activities that promote student engagement for the upcoming April 8th Solar Eclipse. The educator workshop will be led by Penn state University’s Center for Science and the Schools in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium. This partnership will deliver in-depth content about the fundamental physics behind the natural phenomena of Solar Eclipses. As well as offer safe options for viewing the Solar Eclipse 2024. Each participant will leave with a class pack of Solar Eclipse glasses, NSTA digital Solar Eclipses resources, and a PocketLab sensor, The Voyager 2.
