Want to do more integrated activities in your classroom? Do you like to hear fascinating stories of penguins, polar bears and other cold climate adapted animals? Do you think your students will enjoy investigating the Arctic/Antarctic food web?

A Chilling Experience will integrate literature, math, science, technology and the arts using several activities you can take back and replicate in your classroom. Activities will support using literature to spark student intrigue in science and using scientific practices to dive further into Arctic and Antarctic life sciences.

Participants will also have a chance to win a free class trip to see the Center for Performing Arts School-Time Matinee presentation of Mr. Popper’s Penguins on February 12, 2018.
